What happens if I want to change PMS?

If you’re considering changing your Practice Management System (PMS) and are concerned about losing access to VetEnvoy services during the migration, here’s some reassuring news: you can seamlessly continue to use our services, provided that your new PMS is among our trusted partners. There are a few steps to be taken by your old and new PMS in order for this to happen:

  1. The new PMS provider needs to initiate the request from their Vet Envoy admin portal.
  2. The existing PMS provider will then need to approve the request from the Vet Envoy portal.
  3. Once this has been approved, the practice’s PMS will be changed to the new PMS provider.

Please note: any claims which you have on the current PMS will need to be completed prior to the migration as after this step takes place, the history is put into an archive on the new PMS. Any claims which need to be sent after this migration will need to be sent manually.
